I finally arrived in NY, and today's post will mostly talk about it. I did not work a lot this past day, taking vacations after my vacations.

I'm totally amazed by this city. I wasn't expecting much, and I didn't know a lot about it except the usual stuff, and as I had no plans there, I just wanted to chill a bit and meet people.

Open-minded people

It's crazy how people here are. Everyone talks with each other, you can easily meet new people by just walking on the street.

And that happens. It was raining, and I was looking at a museum to avoid it. And on the line, I met a random Australian guy, we did the museum together, and then we had lunch.

After that, we met a girl at a café, and she invited us to come to her party the day after. So I went to a random party doing a jam with random guys on a nice NY flat. And that was amazing.

That's kind of impossible in Paris. People are not that open in the street, and it's hard to meet new people like that. And I love the atmosphere here, where everything looks possible.

Visiting

I have already visited most of the tourist spots. And I ran through Central Park, which was amazing. Here are some pictures if you wanna see.

Everything is pretty straightforward. I love how the buildings are made and the fact that they use blocks for the streets, pretty easy to walk there and not get lost.

Compared to France, everything here is huge. The cars, buildings, fridges, and stuff. Pretty crazy to see how Americans are living.

The price

That's my first time going to a country where taxes are not directly written on the menu, and then there are the tips. At the end, you end up with an expensive bill for just a few things.

And it's very different from Asia or Europe. Here, there are still a lot of waitresses and people you need to talk to get an order. Unlike in Japan, where you can spend most of your day without talking.

What's next?

In the next days, I will probably just chill and meet new random people to discover the city. If you have any great plans here or if you're currently in NY, will free to reach and meet.

Also will probably try to find a café to work on, I love to mood of writing or coding in a café.
