Finding the right scope, Winter arc, and the final piece of my setup

I'm now fully in Paris and I'm enjoying it so much. Having a good routine is so good. And being able to work as much as I want and do my sport when I want is also perfect.

I decided to come back to some scope I left due to issues on my previous computer and that was a really good idea.

Also, this is the time for me to enter the Winter Arc.

Finding the right scope

It can be hard for a lot of people to find the right scope and stay on it for a long time. And I fully understand.

In my opinion, to find the right scope, you need to dig deep into programs that you already use in your life. Or on programs that are scope, you are good at.

For instance, I mainly search for access control issues, so I'm not going to focus on static websites. I will look at a huge app with a lot of different permissions.

There is a public program on Hackerone I've been looking for for a long time now. But I wasn't able to fully set it as I wanted. This is an open source app so I wanted to have a good lab to log everything and debug easily.

But with my previous computer, it wasn't possible. And I tried it now and it is perfect.

I have a full debugger and LSP on my IDE to see from which function it comes etc. And it's the perfect way to hunt on this scope.

Everything is smooth and I can dig deep into the code without any issues and find new bugs.

I already found something cool, still waiting for the triager as the triage on Hackerone is pretty bad in my opinion, especially when you come from yeswehack. But it's alright, it's just a time question.

The Winter Arc

I love to cut my life into different arcs just as anime makes.

I was previously in my travel arc and I traveled a lot around the world. Now I'm back in France and I will probably stay here for long.

And it's now winter, and I love this season, as I prefer cold over hot. It's also good for work as no one is going out, so you can take time to work on your stuff more.

So I will take this season to focus on HackerOne, finding the right flat to live in, and running.

The masterpiece of my setup

I received almost everything for my setup last week, but I needed another piece.

Now that I have discovered the best coffee shop all around the world, I wasn't able to drink basic coffee from a basic machine. So I decided to buy a brand new coffee machine and try to be my own barista and make some latte art.
